This redesign was aimed at simplifying the navigation of rostering of employees between week, month and year. For each roster, a colour is assigned for categorisation of job type or team. Staff and location numbers are listed for quick access of important information. A 'Send' button below the categories allows managers rostering to quickly send their rosters to the relevant staff.
The year view below shows the staff categories and staff and location numbers for the selected month.
Future considerations I had following these designs included fleshing out more states of this process and journey mapping them to ensure the correct information is included in each view. Understanding other important information that customers want for each view followed by user testing this workflow for different industries are other next steps I would take.
